ANODISED ALUMINIUM NAMEPLATESAnodised aluminium nameplates are extremely durable, long lasting and solvent resistant. They are ideal for use in adverse operating conditions including temperature extremes and also where there is high humidity. Anodising is an electro-chemical process that creates an absorbent surface enabling ink to penetrate the aluminium. Once sealed, the ink is almost impossible to remove. ThicknessAluminium nameplates are available from 0.3mm thickness (flexible) to 3mm thickness (very rigid) depending on the end use. Fixing Holes or adhesive? We can supply aluminium nameplates with fixing holes (normally 3mm in diameter) or backed with industrial adhesive (normally 3M467). EtchingAluminium can be etched and then 'infilled' with colour. Please ask for details and samples EngravingSerial numbers and other types of variable information can be engraved onto the aluminium. This is an excellent method of ensuring that vital information remains on the nameplate for years to come. Please specify your requirements when ordering. |
